David Senra: Tony Xu, DoorDash
podcasts.apple.com
It's alwasy the data that you can't see that kills you. If you see it, you're just going to get out of the way
The only question that matters when you're starting out: do you have something that osmeone else wants? and it's real?
Why starts from restaurants? - it had the highest count of stores of any retail category.
What keeps a company going? - The geneiune friends at work. If we're going to die trying. The worst case, we're going to to die trying?
Internal venture - Having something that was a bit of a constant in my life, whereas everything else was out of my control, extremely chaotic, usually extremely negative
Closing thoughts - There's just no better way to be an expert than to just do the work

The Learning Leader Show: Clark Lea
podcasts.apple.com
Development in one area is development in all areas.
We're trained to see life in separate lanes (coach, husband, father, athlete etc), but when you live that way, you're in constant conflict. Instead, see each person as a circle where all those roles define who we are, and development in one area is development in all areas.
Relatedness is our edge: It’s this shared experience we have, a sense of belonging and community, a deep respect, a foundational respect.
Hope is passive; belief is an active decision.
When we take belief into a practice, we make it happen.
I don't have to be bigger, faster, stronger in my role anymore, but I need to suffer

Women of Distance: Sylvie Abel - A Pathway to Gratitude
podcasts.apple.com
”Someone I loved once gave me a box of darkness. It took me years to understand that this too, was a gift." -Mary Oliver
Trail Running gave me confidence: It doesn't matter it's a race or an adventure that you do. Being out there for hours and doing this continuously was proving to me that I actually was tough, strong and capable.
Winning is great. It did help me with confidence and teach me that I can overcome. But when you fail, clearly, that's when you get the lesson. It’s also a gift.
You win or you learn. ❤️ And I have learned a lot. And I'm going to very gratefully take it to my next adventure

Second Nature: Why Curiosity Outlasts Strategy
podcasts.apple.com
BPC book: Running Breakthroughs by Floris; The Way of Excellence, by Brad Stulberg; The Practice of Groundedness, by Brad Stulberg
It's easy for us to coach other athletes to be kind to themselves. But the internal war is going on sometimes - Be awareness is a big part.
Slowing down in some of your training and in your daily life can help bring that awareness to the surface
Enjoy the day-to-day workouts on a consistent basis and just be patient and think long-term. It is not the one killer workout, it is the stacking up of workouts over time. If you can do that, the running progress will follow

Nice decoding! We’re always in the impression of protein deficiency, but maybe we need more fiber! And more strength training to make use of that protein!
Veg protein is also good, maybe better. It may show less efficacy than meant during 1-hr in the experiment, but will come back in a 24-hrs + time course
